Dr Mazdak Ghajari
Biomechanics, Computational Modelling and Injury Prediction
Dr Mazdak Ghajari is a lecturer in Biomechanics and Design Engineering with expertise in non-linear solid mechanics and computer-aided engineering with a range of applications, including biomechanics of traumatic brain injury and optimal design of energy absorbing structures and injury prevention systems. He is a member of the BSI (head protection subcommittee). He leads a group of researchers, focused on biomechanics of TBI, and collaborates closely with neuroscientists and industry to help tackle this pressing medical issue.
