Mr Ciaran Scott Hill
Ciaran is a Neurosurgery Speciality Registrar with a clinical and research interest in traumatic brain injury. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Barts and the Royal London Hospitals before taking up a Neurosurgery training post in London. He holds membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, holds a speciality certificate in neurology, and diplomas in conflict and catastrophe medicine, ENT and tropical medicine. He has worked on the London's Air Ambulance Physician's response unit, and completed a PhD at Cambridge University focussing on the basic mechanisms of neuro-degeneration following brain injury. Since 2012 he has held an Honorary Senior Lectureship in Neurosurgery at UCL and he will begin an Academic Clinical Lectureship at UCL in February 2019.
